I think I am going to turn off that ‘attempt to notify other blogs of your post’ thingy. WordPress just automagically posted a comment on Warren Ellis’ blog when I included a link to his original post from my ‘David Schwimmer will cut you!’ post.

All well and good but I got a bit of a shock when I was browsing his site and suddenly I see a link from myself sitting there amongst all the rest of them like a big fat eejit of a yoke. I mean come on, look at my post. I was obviously bored, it was not worthy of comment. Christ the title was even stolen from another commenter on Ellis’ post. I only posted the link as I forgot where I got the photo from, some other commenter on the post. Bah!

What I am most concerned about of course is that I will post some horrible thing someday about some poor fucker’s blog on the net as you do, throw in a link and suddenly he will be sitting in a darkened room somewhere masturbating into a sock and go ‘oh look someone’s posted a comment on my citizen journalist article about how Star Wars helped me bond with my deadbeat dad, no wait its a trackback to another site thats…..oh dear GOD NO!’

Stupid internet tracking me down.

But really, secretly, I’m afraid it will be me with the sock.
