In all the gyms I've been in, there is always a massive bloke who's shorter than me who wants to teach me the "right" way to lift weights: "Nah, man. Put your back into it..."</description>

		<description>The sadness is at the lack of achievement ... because how do you &lt;b&gt;know&lt;/b&gt; that you're doing anything, if you're not going anywhere, lifting anything concrete?  How can you &lt;b&gt;tell&lt;/b&gt; that you're working out, besides the fact that you sweat, if you can't &lt;b&gt;see&lt;/b&gt; something move?  Sad, sad.</description>

		<description>Ahh, I can relate to that. The unused gym membership that I can't bring myself to cancel, the curiosity about the things that the 'proper' gym users know how to do, and the embarrassment that would ensue if I tried them and was caught.</description>
