Sure. I’d check for suspicious piles of wrappers tucked behind the sofa, and/or guilty faces coated in chocolate. It’s not their fault, we all know that; but womenfolk just can’t be trusted around chocolate.

The longer I look at that picture, the more troubling it is.
I hope you were supposed to be down there in the Debenhams basement, and didn’t just sort of hide yourself there to interfere with the toys.

They will never know the terrible things I did down there with the selection boxes. Not until Christmas day anyhow.

Our selection boxes are missing, my mother forgot where she put them. Perhaps now reading this that is a good thing.
