Gickr

Ha Gickr!

For my American friends, the gicker means your arsehole over here and gick is another name for poo.

To be used in conversation thusly;

‘Janey mack, I hear your wan likes it up the gicker.’

‘I hear your ma likes it up the gicker.’

‘Shurrup you.’

and from Kesey’s Concise guide to Dublin slang

Gick
(n.) Excrement. A favourite song from the author’s childhood, sung on school excursions and the like, went as follows (to the tune of Strauss’ Blue Danube Waltz):

It runs down your legs!
Gick gick tra-la!
It’s brown and it’s thick!
Gick gick tra-la!
It makes you so sick!
Gick gick tra-la!

repeated with harmonies, improvisations, etc. until the supervising teacher or bus driver screamed and threatened GBH.

Yeah I know, go read a book if you want culture.

Found via the excellent Birdbath, who is currently performing strange arts and fancies on his site involving words, pictures and music.

It was only a matter of time before something fully stupid like this happened with the fake-words-sounding-like-Flickr thing. Their marketing dept. is in trouble!

It’s not as bad as Jay-Z’s failed purse franchise: Jizbag.

Wow, that’s such a lame comment. I think I’ve hurt myself.
